“One of our best stays in Japan”

We loved staying in this traditional Japanese Guest House. The host is so welcoming and we had a beautiful view of Mount Fuji from our tatami room.

Amazing stay! The place was super quiet and peaceful, but still very well connected to public transport. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was just great. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, he even drove me to the train station, which I really appreciated. I would definitely stay here again!

It is a very simple place, but it is nice and cozy enough to spend a night. There is a small bath in the shower room. I'm not sure I can call it onsen, but it is possible to get warm and relax there. The breakfast was good for a price: the omelet, the green salad, a couple of toasts and miso soup. The room was warm and spacious. The view of Fuji-san from the balcony was gorgeous. The owner is a very nice and intelligent person.

The location is walkable from scenic Oshino village, the Lawson over there, and also walking distance from a nearby 7-eleven at Fanuc campus. The owner/host is a very thoughtful man and he helped me after checking out with bringing me to a nearby busstop. The Guesthouse has a small bath, onsen (actually 2, one for men, one for women) open for use in the morning and late afternoon + evening. I love the peace of the environment and seeing Mt. Fuji so nearby. Wifi is good, i could work online in the evening. Mind that if you come by bus, you need to walk a bit uphill to the house, though for me that was no problem ;) (* humble brag *)

Very helpful host who drove us to the supermarket to buy food as we arrived after the restaurants were closed. Then drove us into oshino hakkai village in the morning! Lovely onsen bath too!

“It was extremely enjoyable”

Everything was perfect! The room was quite large, very cute and clean, bed comfortable. Bathroom was roomy and clean. Also if you did not enjoy the bath tub or the bathroom was occupied, the owner kindly showed you the other one on lower floor, with a shower. The owner is a very nice, kind man, amazing cook (the breakfasts were very enjoyable) and overall such a kind soul. We loved our stay, 11/10, would definitely stay again!

A bit off road, very clean and cosy and even with a single person Onsen spot!

hot water in the shower, fridge and microwave available, free coffee and tea and you can use the dining table and cutlery to have food. 15 min walking to the main area. Quiet area Impressive view to mt Fuji from the Balcony

The hotel is too far inside and not accessible by bus. Didnt expect the shared bathroom was at lower floor and a bit hassle to take a bath. Facilities also was just okay. the mattress moved when we sleep as there was no friction. overall, thank god only for 1 night.

The room was exceptionally clean. Good location away from the busy cities, about a 7 min walk to town. Host was amazing assisting us with dinner reservations and directions. Would definitely stay here again!!

The place was clean, and the owner was very helpful with recommendations for our trip. The breakfast was fresh and delicious! The onsen can be used well during non peak hours. We would like to stay again!

The rooms were large and very clean, and all the facilities are great. The onsen was the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring Oshino Hakkai and the surrounding area. The host is amazing and is such a great and friendly man who works very hard for the property. Definately take him up on the breakfast offer of 600yen!

Excellent views of Mount Fuji on a clear day from upstairs, comfortable rooms and a warm Onsen. The Host was so welcoming, and helpful offering excellent food recommendations and assisting with reservations! Really went above and beyond to make our stay one to remember! Would Highly the Guest House E-ne to all travellers passing through!
