“simple stay”
Nice and simple stay for 1 night. it was a typical guesthouse run by one person and very relaxed. if you’re looking for something ‘proper’ then this is not the place for you. the owner was very nice, we even bought some of his T-shirt’s! the guesthouse is clean but cluttered.

The kitchen was spacious and there were a lot of cooking spices/ sauce and cookware that you can use/rent for cheap price. The shared space for dining was cozy, I like spending time here eating and chatting with friends. Electric bikes can be rented for an affordable price and the host even let us use in the next day as well which was super nice. I had fun cycling around town and stumbled upon some nice spots along the way. I would love to come back here in summer to enjoy more activities on this beautiful island.

“A pleasant and enjoyable stay, full of chances of meeting local people.”
Staff of the hostel went the extra mile to make sure my friends and I had a pleasant stay. Takuya san, the hostel manager, also gave us plenty of information on Oshima, took us trying fishing at the local harbor and created many chances to meet and spend time with locals and other travellers.
