Location

Great location in Osaka, very convenient for daily commute and for direct line to the airport (about 400 m away). Super quiet and with kombinis, restaurants and supermarket meters away. One thing though, if you have a sensitive back, you will want to pile up the futons.

Location was great, near the train station and close to the city as well. Near grocery shops and restaurants. The room itself was very nice, and we will definitely book here again if we visit Japan again. The hotel gave us some bath salt as well. Please be aware that luggage transport will not be forwarded here. It was a nightmare navigating how to get my luggage back again, but we also did not communicate with the hotel, so maybe the result will be different if you contact them first? Other than that, it was absolutely fantastic!

We loved the traditional feel of the place. We especially enjoyed opening the balcony door in the morning and enjoying the rain/breeze while lying in bed.

Good cleanliness, spacious and comfortable for 2 people. It’s also in a quiet and safe location in a great neighbourhood. It’s also a convenient walk to the train station, where there will be 3 convenience stores on the way.

Well equipped self-contained apartment, compact but ideally located about 7-8mins from the nearest JR stations. Peaceful neighbourhood with two konbini in very close proximity.

“A family of 4 adults gets to play and enjoy a beautiful ryokan!”

The ryokan was impeccably clean and well organized, anticipating the needs of its guests well with clear instructions using labeled photos for how to operate the different amenities - AC/heating, washing machine, water heater, lighting, bidet use, etc..the simplicity of the ryokan renders an elegant experience of ‘living Japanese’, however brief. My family (4 of us) enjoyed our stay and the closeness a small space can provide when in good company. The small balcony even has a garden that is welcoming. Location was good, easy to get to, in a quiet neighbourhood with a grocery store nearby and a variety of cafes & restaurants to choose from. Communication from the host was clear and prompt.

“Absolutely beautiful”

It is very beautifully setup. Traditional Japanese style. Sleeping on the floor was very therapeutic. We all enjoyed that. Eating while sitting on the floor also very good and takes you back in time . A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Was a really nice ryokan experience, nicely laid out and beautifully decorated place. Self check in was very easy. The house yukata were a lovely touch as well as the bath salts.

We really enjoyed staying at Harper house and liked the location being out of the main city. Lots of nice cafes, shops and train station nearby. Very quiet, spacious and comfortable which was great after a big day out.
