The young man who runs the hostel really loves what he does. You can feel his passion in the little details of the colorful decor, the free amenities (as he calls it) in the bathroom areas, the range of free tea bags and soup bags he offers, and, above all, the lively conversations he hosted in the living room at night, when people started coming back from the day's travel and sat down to brew tea from the counter or eat the sushi or cup noodles brought back from nearby Family Mart or Lawson. Although I don't speak Japanese, I could see the guests being greatly entertained by the hostel owner. He speaks pretty good English, actually, but given that most guests were Japanese, they naturally spoke their native tongue in their happy exchanges. I guess the coziness of the living room partly contributed to people easily stiking up chats with strangers. When people come in through the front door and sit down to change into slippers, you are bound to have eye contact with them and welcome them back.

Tiger the host so so welcoming and invited me to a basketball game on the first night! It was so much fun! The hostel itself is brilliant, close to the metro station, busses to airport and an easy ferry to Universal Studios. Loved all the extra love put into the hostel like free snacks, coffee and matcha and things like face scrub in the showers 💕

“Best and friendly in Osaka Port Area”
It's a conveniently situated near Osaka Port for KaiyuKan Aquarium, big wheel, TenpoZan mount and the Cruise ship with walking distance. Few minutes walk from the Metro station with convenience stores and restaurants. The host are the most friendly including a beautiful rescued black cat! Lounge with microwave is comfy and lovely. Dormitory rooms, shower rooms, toilets are very clean, quiet, safe area with free amenity. They don't have total clear out for cleaning, can leave your luggage, chat with guests and staff made my stay more nicer, my repeat favorite in Osaka. Very good value for your Yen. Highly recommended.

The staff were really nice. It was also really close to the station. About 5 minutes of a walk with and a convenient store nearby. Staff spoke English really well and I was able to communicate with them at ease.
