If you plan to go to Universal Studios and/or the Area around Osakako for the Kaiyukan Aquarium it is certainly a great place to spend a few nights in, if you don't mind small bedrooms and shared bathrooms. The Hotel is run by only one man who was very friendly

“A nice stay close to the aquarium”
The room was very nice! Very convenient for the aquarium and was pretty close to the station. You also got a yukata which is really fun! The bed was nice and clean and plenty big for one person, definitely could fit 2 if you wanted!

GREAT value for money. Close to everything, especially the main tourism attractions. Very clean, simple, safe, quiet. Owner is so nice, gave us so many pieces of advice, which I would not have found in any regular guidebooks.

Everything was great. Location close to aquarium and bus and train station, kind staff, useful lift for heavy luggage so you don't need to take it by stairs. I had nice sleep and lovely experience. Fully recommend.

The staff is amazing and super friendly, explaining everything to us. The rooms were comfortable for the four of us. Theres bar and some food that you can order as well from the owner. The location is close to many attractions too. Highly recommend 👍🏻

“Highly recommended if your activities are based in that area”
It is very near a train station (although you will need a few changes to get into city proper), walking distance to the Aquarium, there is a free ferry operated by City of Osaka that gets you over to Universal Studio city, if you choose to train it to USJ, it is less than 30min. Lots of convenient stores and restaurants nearby. The person in charge (Mr Kan) is friendly despite not knowing much english.

Hotel area allows easy access to all Osaka by train (major train line at 3min walking distance from the hotel) Nice shops and restaurants all around the hotel Clean towels for each night Clean bedding Bar included in the hotel where you can have a snack or a drink Comfortable showers even if not cleaned
