Overview
Set in Val Gardena near the ski lifts, 4-star Hotel Luna hotel offers a free underground garage, comfortable rooms, a large wellness centre, and an indoor pool. You will be near mountain trails at Hotel Luna Mondschein. The hotel can organise excursions with Catores mountain guides during summer, and sleigh tours during winter. Public buses stop directly in front of the Hotel Mondschein. A private shuttle service to and from the ski tracks is available from 08:30 to 17:30. Relax in the elegant, comfortable lounge area decorated in a classical style. The large garden and the terrace are equipped with sun loungers and garden furniture. Spacious rooms come with classical furnishings and offer a warm environment. Enjoy a welcome drink on arrival every Saturday and Sunday. The breakfast buffet includes a rich variety of foods and is included in the rate. The on-site restaurant is only open to hotel guests and serves regional and Mediterranean cuisine, local specialities and fine wines. Themed dinners are held once a week. Gluten-free menus are available on request. From 16:00 you can help yourself to the hotel's afternoon buffet, filled with freshly baked cakes and biscuits. Take advantage of the spa facilities.You will find an indoor pool with water jets and hydromassage features, a Finnish sauna, a Turkish bath and a Thermarium. Take a break in the relax area where you can enjoy herbal infusions and fresh fruit every day after 18.00. Treat yourself to the hotel's beauty and wellness farm. Bathrobe and slippers are provided. A private fitness room is available every day from 09:00 to 21:00. You also have have free use of the tennis facilities in the nearby St. Ulrich Tennis Centre. During certain times of the year, the hotel may only be bookable for at least 7 nights, with arrival on Saturday or Sunday.

Everything! A beautiful historic and family run hotel in a convenient location. Excellent service and delicious food in a stunning setting. We travel regularly and this is our favourite hotel so far!

“Luxurious stay in a great location”
Everything was so nice and it was in a great location -- just a short walk into town and everything nearby. Staff were really nice, food was good, the sauna was relaxing, room was comfortable, and I had a nice glimpse of the mountains from my balcony. Dinner on my first night was phenomenal with options to choose from for starters and mains. The second night was a set menu with good options that were popular among others. I really liked the salad bar and the breakfast selection in the morning.

“Superb!”
Lovely hotel, 10 minutes from Ortisei town centre and gondola into the mountain. Food was outstanding, with a real variety at all meal times. Staff were warm and friendly, with nothing being too much trouble. Spa facilities were incredible. I will most definitely return for another stay. Thank you Hotel Luna!

The staff were very friendly and are such good people, they go above and beyond for you. The breakfast was amazing! I would say it was my favourite breakfast I ever had at a hotel. They had everything, a highlight was the fresh juice you can make with the juicer. The inside of the hotel is very clean and luxurious. The vibe and atmosphere of the areas were amazing. It is a really beautiful hotel and would highly recommend it.

You cannot fault this place! The staff are excellent, accomodating and kind. The bed and pillows were like the clouds we needed after long hikes. The amenities were so relaxing and well maintained. Breakfast was yummy too and the hotel price included snacks at 3pm

“A very pleasant stay. Has all the amentities you need and very comfortable.”
Super accessible and walking distance from the main town and cable cars, yet still in a quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle. Afternoon tea was a lovely addition and something we anticipated each day after spending our morning in the mountains. We also loved the golden retriever who would greet us every time we were in the lobby!

Superb staff - very friendly and helpful about the local area. We stayed half board and the food was exceptional, both breakfast and dinner. The facilities are excellent. A swim and/or sauna before dinner was a great end to the day.
