A beautiful restored 18th Century townhouse divided into apartments. Each decorated in an original contemporary style. Comfy bed, a spacious living area and good bathroom. The kitchen was well appointed with enough equipment to cook a meal if not eating out. The hosts Philippe and Marielle are very friendly and helpful. They were excellent hosts and provived a good breakfast in both their lovely walled garden and homely kitchen.

The hosts were really friendly and helpful. We spent a lot of time talking to them and asking all sorts of questions. I would recommend taking the Table d'Hote meal if it is offered. They bent over backwards to cater to my food intolerances. The location is very handy in the centre of town.

The hosts are friendly and helpful. The accommodation is centrally located. Parking outside was easy. The rooms have been decorated recently and are delightful.

“Family feeling”

House is very well kept and hosts were very friendly, making us fell like home. Room was as expected and same from pictures. It was easy to park on the street (there is a cost). Breakfast was quite good. We only spent 1 night, but would return any time.

We stopped off for 1 night whilst travelling from the Santander ferry through to Gavarnie in the Pyrenees. A wonderful traditional house, based in a quiet street near the centre of town. We had the front room at the top and it was very spacious with a comfortable bed. We also had the "host table" evening meal with the hosts, which was delightful and excellent value.

A hidden treasure! Our hosts were the loveliest people and the accommodation was immaculately clean. Food was delicious & the free parking close by an added bonus. We'd love to return.

The large, light room was in the hosts’ beautiful old house right in the centre of Orthez. Free parking on the street outside or in a nearby carpark. A delicious breakfast served in the garden. Lovely hosts who made us welcome and gave useful information about the area, restaurants , etc.

Lovely 18th century house. Marielle and Philippe were wonderful hosts, providing a delicious supper and breakfast. Marielle's home-made baking and biscuits were to die for!
