“A very comfortable and beautiful little hotel in Orosi”

We wished we had stayed longer! Lovely small hotel with very helpful and welcoming team - the owners booked our trip to the hot springs - ten minutes away - which was a fabulous way to spend an afternoon. Everything in the hotel is very comfortable and thoughtful and the breakfast was very tasty at the cafe at the front on the morning we left.

“Exceptionally beautiful and comfortable stay in excellent location”

We only stayed one night, and wished afterwards it would have been longer. I have rarely stayed at an accomodation where it was so obvious that the owners are genuinely interested in gifting their guests the best time possible. From being welcomed with a drink, to the information available digitally, to the lovingly furnished and decorated room, everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

“Great location - lots to do in Orosi valley”

Orosi has been one of our favourite places in Costa Rica. The owners made us feel very welcome and booked us on a great tour with a local coffee farmer. Breakfast was amazing - don’t miss it. Lovely views of the valley and just up the road are the thermal pools.

“Two nights stay in Orosi lodge.”

Very nice hotel. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. Tea and coffee in the room with kettle and coffee maker in the small kitennette. Bed was very comfortable. Bedside tables with charging facilities for both plugs and USB. Bathroom was a touch on the small side but adequate for our two nights stay with plenty of towels and toilet papers and shampoo and soap etc. Also had a hair dryer in room. Breakfast was optional with Continental and Rustico( cooked.choices of eggs, bacon, ham, tomatoes and cheese)). With plenty of crusty breads and tasty jams. Staff and owners were very helpful and helped us booked our Tapanti Natinal Park entrance as well as the Irazú volcano entrance. Will definitely come back to the hotel if we are back in this area.

The Chalet is fantastic value for money. It's large, comfortable, and has everything you would want, including great views of Irazu and Turrialba volcanoes. The breakfast is fantastic. Staff and the owners couldn't be more helpful. Can't recommend this place enough. Il Giardino is just round the corner for dinner - excellent pizzas.

If you are from Europe you are going to feel like home here. The owners work very hard to make you feel welcome, safe and comfortable. Great position in the heart of the cute town of Orosí. If you have time stay one more extra night.

We had rented the chalet for one night and it was beautiful! The chalet is very spacious and nicely decorated. It also has a little terrace where you can relax and observe the nature around. Orosi Lodge is located in a very quiet neighbourhood, very close to the centre of Orosi town. The host was lovely, and she gave us tips about what to do in the area.

“Excellent Accommodation in a special place”

Great location within town and the wider valley. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast and afternoon coffee and cake were top quality. Although not one of the main tourist areas of Costa Rica we would highly recommend anyone to visit if you want an authentic CR experience

Really enjoyed my stay at Orosi Lodge. It's set in a beautiful spot, and all the little touches were so lovely. The staff were so welcoming, answering any questions I had about my stay in Orosi. Would definitely recommend to stay here - I didn't want to leave!

“our stay was good and in style”

Expected a semi secluded lodge, arrived at a compact guesthouse at the village corner, but it was a really good experience. Attention to detail, from stylish furniture, non-slippery floors, comfortable design to fresh morning newspaper, quality food and plenty of information about things to do. It was a home feeling because the hosts took care of us with kind attention. Bird feeders, frog basin, but for more birds walk up the street towards the mountain. Romantic nighttime view from your small terrace although the valley looks like a city with lights on all the night. Voice of the masked tree frog at the lodge was a calming addition to the night’s dog-bark soundscape. We loved the excellent Italian restaurant close by.
