Staying here felt like arriving at a family home — you feel the warmth the moment you walk through the door. The place is incredibly cosy, spotless, and clearly cared for with love. The lady who runs it is amazing: extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Breakfast was unforgettable: beautifully presented, full of local flavours, homemade marmalades, local yogurt, honey, and incredible bread. A true gem hidden in the heart of this little village. This is one of those places that stays in your memory forever because of all the little big things. I will definitely come back.

A wonderful old house by the river with luxurious well equipped rooms, welcoming hosts and excellent breakfasts. We really enjoyed our stay here. It also has private parking and is a short walk from the centre of town and it's shops and restaurants.

This is a wonderful place to stay - it’s central, quiet and there is a beautiful garden to rest and relax after you’ve been hiking and/or exploring the lovely city of Ornans. Breakfast includes home made cakes, jams and is served in a charming and light filled room. We also loved the way the property was decorated - a magical combination of contemporary and traditional styles.

We stayed in Ornans while walking the Via Francigena. The house is on the river with beautiful views. Rooms are comfortable, the breakfast delicious and Theo is an excellent host.

Everything, the location the house, the decor and the owners and the lovely dog Salma. The room was very large and wonderfully decorated and the breakfast was very generous with lots of homemade jams to choose from.

The breakfast was superb and plentiful. The proprietress was friendly and helpful and allowed us to use her kitchen to heat some food and eat it on the terrace. Ornans itself is a lovely small town. We had booked the smaller room but chose to upgrade to a lovely larger one with large bathroom, as we were staying two nights. The house is full of character in an artistic way reminiscent of a bygone era.
