The room was dirty the bathroom had mushrooms the staff is rude and very unprofessional they are disrespectful really it was there because I saw the reviews but whoever wants to go to spend a good vacation I recommend not staying there it is terrible

I loved that it was beachfront and the facilities were clean, the pool was nice and the rooms were quite spacious and comfortable, although they should have microwaves in the rooms.To avoid having to go down to the lobby, there is coffee and tea available all day and a water dispenser.

We like it here because there is a pool and the ocean nearby, it is very convenient and comfortable and safe for our children. For children, everything is nearby.

Upon arrival, we asked the front desk if we could have a room on the ground floor, and the staff kindly accommodated our request. We received a decent room just about 30 seconds from the ocean — truly first line. It had a small fenced patio with a view of the ocean, and the pool was just a few meters away. We were very happy with both the room and its location. Parking was also a plus — even though it got full at times, we were always able to find a spot. The staff was polite and responsive.

We were regular guests of the previous Best Western Castillo del Sol. It is true, a rennovation was required, very clean now. Location has not changed, therefore still great. Staff is friendly.

The staff was professional and friendly. Huge room facing the ocean. Kitchen was nice. Pool was great. Breakfast was fantastic. Really great place for a 2 star hotel.

There are several bad reviews on this place, but don't let that stop you from booking! For the price, this place was fantastic for us! Location is great. Ormand is WAY better then Daytona I think. Staff was fantastic, very accommodating, all you have to do is ask. It's all stil a work in progress, but from the room we had, had brand new beds, view was amazing, pool was awesome. Coffee in the lobby all day, was sweet. Since I LOVE coffee. There is a shortage on towls, but I fully believe that's because people are taking them to the pool, leaving them and asking for more. We brought our own beach/pool towls as usual.

The Location was great, on the beach. The Hotel unfortunately is undergoing much repair which was required from Hurricane damage. Upon completion, I am sure it will be a great Hotel again. Our particular room was hugh and very clean.
