Overview
Situated in Vestfirdir, the Western Fjords of Iceland, this family-run hotel is 23 km from the bird cliffs of Látrabjarg. It offers free Wi-Fi and an on-site restaurant with bar. Each simply decorated room at Hotel Latrabjarg has a work desk and private bathrooms. Some have a seating area and sea views of the Ölfus Harbour. Very good breakfast and dinner was nice, too. A great place to stay if you want to watch some Puffins or hike in Latrabjarg.

Large, bright room with a nice sitting area. Great views out to the beach. Breakfast buffet was simple but excellent. Liked the easy check-in and check-out. Great location for visiting the Latrabjarg bird cliffs.

“A lovely and peaceful place to stay, with kind people and breathtaking surroundings”
The staff was fantastic, warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The location is perfect for those who want to enjoy the peaceful beauty of nature without overpaying in Patreksfjörður. If you're looking for a quiet escape, this is absolutely the better choice. The breakfast buffet was great, and the owner/staff went out of their way to make the stay comfortable.

Right in the middle of nowhere! Great view! Látrabjarg 30 min. away! Restaurant on-site (nearest town is 1,5 hours away). Staff very nice and helpful.

“Wonderful stay”
The innkeeper is extremely friendly. We discussed about living in Iceland, he told us the history of the place, his childhood in this region, had many wonderful stories to share. He even passed a playlist of songs in our la guage. The place is old school, in a very pleasant manner. It's like entering a photograph of a recent past. There are lots of vintage objects and pictures everywhere. Nothing here is modern, and it's perfect like it is. We had a good meal in the evening (even though we did not book it, and came in late) and a nice buffet for breakfast. The room was very large, with a salon and a table, like a suite. Also it's one of the closest places to stay to observe the cliffs of Latrabjarg.
