The staff was friendly and welcoming. I was checked in a little early, so I was very pleased not to have to wait. The room was neat, the bed clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi is stable and works well. I loved everything.

“Privacy violation and poor service”

I booked a week at Hotel Mistral for important medical reasons. The experience was already mixed, but one incident crossed the line. At check-in, I was told the hotel would close mid week for renovations. The receptionist kindly offered to move me to their sister property from the start, Hotel Mistral 2, which I accepted to avoid stress later on. That part was handled smoothly. The room at Mistral 2 was acceptable but dark even with the window open. There was also a constant mechanical noise from some nearby machine that never stopped, which became irritating. The bathroom bin appeared not to have been cleaned in a long time. Not a major issue alone, but it added to the overall impression. Some of the breakfast tables are crammed together with barely room to pass between them. For a hotel at this level, a complete lack of personal space at breakfast was disappointing. One morning after breakfast, I was on a private phone call in my room. My instinct told me to check, and I opened the door to find the housekeeper standing right outside, phone in hand, clearly listening. When I saw her, she did not move or walk away. I later checked the corridor: she had no room to clean nearby at that moment. She was there specifically to eavesdrop on my conversation. This is a profound violation of the guest's privacy and completely unacceptable. It made me feel unsafe and disrespected for the remainder of my stay. I was disappointed but not surprised, as the general staff attitude seemed poor throughout. The hotel urgently needs professional training for all employees. I cannot recommend this hotel, especially if you value privacy and basic respect.

Big renovated bedroom (some parts of the building are still being renovated). The breakfast was good and complete, with fresh bread - the only stay in Sardinia where we were served fresh bread for breakfast! They also offer private parking.

Large rooms, wide variety at excellent breakfast, free parking in hotel area. Hotel still under construction which does not cross your holiday. Very kind staff which is ready to assist you with everything-glasses, tea, kettle and corkscreew. High quality of matraces, however, for us a bit tough pillows. Shower room equipped and also clean and large. Thank you Hotel Mistral.

Central hotel with free parking Good breakfast with plenty of choice

Excellent location to visit Oristano and the area. We stayed for only 1 night, the rooms and the hotel look like on the picture, a little bit outdated but you know it when you book it. The bathroom could use some renovation, but overall it was clean. Breakfast was also good, bread, cheese, ham, several cakes, yogurt, cereal, fruits.

the airco is not functioning properly- you cannot sleep with it

Nice hotel, rooms are kinda old, but still good. Nice breakfest, free parking on the street in front. Great for a short stay and visit on a Quartz beach.

Unfortunately there was no breakfast but it might be due to a communication mistake. The owner only speaks Italian.
