Adjacent to a public bus stop and 3 minutes’ walk from Rotary Place recreation facility, this Orillia university residence features rooms equipped with a refrigerator. Laundry facilities are available on site. A private bathroom is provided in each air conditioned room at Lakehead University Residence and Conference Centre. A desk area and free wired internet offer in-room convenience. Cable TV and a kitchenette are accessible in a common area on each floor. Ironing facilities are equally available in this area. Lakehead University Residence is 10 minutes’ drive from Couchiching Beach Park and Centennial Park. Leacock Museum is 7 km away. West Ridge bus line can be accessed on campus.

“We enjoyed the budget friendly, double unit and would stay again”
Location was great, lots of storage space. A bit tight to fit a pack and play, but it would be manageable (we brought a portable bassinet instead) it was kinda cool to have a spare room to put the baby to bed in, then go hang out in the other room and not have to be quiet. Price was great especially if you have kids, or another couple staying too because its 2 bedrooms connected with a bathroom. I have family in town and will probably stay again some time!

“The stay provide all the basics that we needed for the one night stay.”
Room was very clean. The mattress on the bed provide a good night's sleep for us. The common room was convenient for us to sit at a table and eat the food that we brought with us. Guests need to aware that the Residence is not a hotel so no extras are provided. In the kitchen no serviettes or paper towels, no cutlery or plates

Front desk staff member was very nice, informative and helpful. The location was great and the entire place was fully clean and welcoming. My family and I were very thankful to rest in a student residence for a change!

“Best New Surprise alternative to Hotel stays in Orillia Ontario.”
Tariff free delight. Excellent new facilities. Large shared bathtub shower water closet and vanity with large countertop for both parties of the twin Double bedroom suites. Across the street from Costco. Two minute drive to McDonald's and Food Basics. The mattress has extra spring in them both. Great 3rd Floor view of the massive Parking lot.

“We would recommend the Lakehead University residences! Close to Mariposa too!!”
The room was great! Bed was comfy, room was a very clean, and a good size and it was very quiet. We got a great sleep both nights!! A friend joined us and used the second bedroom. This worked out perfectly.

“Great value for a family”
For a very reasonable price we had a double dorm room with a double bed in each room and a shared bathroom. Quiet location but close to Costco, Whimpy's Diner and more. Wifi is fast, but there is no TV so bring your laptop and stream your movies
