Overview
Just 200 metres from its private beach, Villa Smeraldo is in the Orbetello Lagoon protected area. Halfway between Orbetello and Porto Santo Stefano, it features air-conditioned rooms with LCD TVs. Rooms here feature satellite TV channels, a minibar, and a private bathroom with free toiletries. Breakfast is buffet style, and La Goletta restaurant serves Italian cuisine 200 metres away. During summer, it transfers to the beach where you will also find a children's playground, volleyball pitch and sailing facilities. Villa Smeraldo is on the Tombolo della Giannella dune that runs for 6 km from Monte Argentario until the mouth of the River Albenga. Porto Santo Stefano, for ferries to the islands of Giannutri and Giglio, is 5 minutes' drive away.

“Location is not what is showed on the pictures..”
Im sad to give only 1 star, the owners and staff are very friendly.. but the pictures are misleading, and I don’t like that.. the hotel is not connected to the beach.. the picture on the add is from their restaurant 10 min walking (worst pizza ever) .. the pool is waaaay smaller in real and literally on a busy road.. no relaxing there.. it’s a pitty .. beds were ok, too soft for myself, but that’s different for everyone.. very dated everything, but ok for me..
