“Very pleasant stay”

Having come from the UK I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room for one third the UK cost. Although only one star the Albergo is fresh and airy with excellent rooms equipped with both fan and aircon. The shower cubicle was a bit compact but plenty of hot water and a good shower head. Bonus of a small balcony facing away from main road so nice and quiet in the evening.

Very easy to check-in and very helpful with storing the bicycle. I stayed for 5 nights and it was very comfortable, with plenty of space in the room and a balcony. Close to everything, train station 30 minutes walk, or bus outside and to Monte Argentario. Great cafe and other restaurants and walks all at hand.

“Rustic & charming”

This accommodation exceed all expectations. I was skeptical because it was a lot cheaper than all the other rooms in Orbetello, but it had everything I would need, and it is super central. I even got private keys from the shed to lock my bike and the landlords were always ready to help and give advice about what to do at Argentario and how to get to places. In the end I spontaneously extended the stay by one night and could remain in my room. I would definitely come back. I would also recommend the location for biking, I was with my road bike but a mountain bike would do as well, or hiking.

The staff at the reception was very welcoming and friendly. We only spent a couple of nights there so didn't expect them to make our room on the first morning, which was a pleasant surprise when we got back after a day exploring l'Argentario. The hotel is conveniently located a short walk from Orbetello historical centre - with plenty of options for food and drink, and Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole are just a 15min car ride. The price was very convenient, especially as we were there in August, which is high-season. Our room had AC and a cute balcony. Bed was comfy and the hotel offered all the essentials we needed. There is free parking available 30 seconds from the hotel. It was a lovely place to stay and I would go back again!

La Perla Hotel was very affordable compared to other options in the area and easy to reach from the train station via a direct bus. The location is convenient for accessing Orbetello, and the room, while basic, had everything I needed - working air conditioning, decent Wi-Fi, and good proximity to the town.

The host is very friendly. The rooms are dated but are totally fine.

“Simple, unfussy bed for the night.”

I'm a cyclist, usually travelling alone and I want this sort of thing. If you want just a room, no breakfast, no frills, La Perla is great. It's safe, everything was clean, the bathroom was fine, warm shower, the bath towel was really big, the room had air-con and overall it suits a basic budget.
