We had a wonderful weekend stay at Silverdown. The cleanliness was absolutely superb—everything felt fresh, spotless, and well cared for. The facilities were excellent, offering everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. We especially appreciated the delicious breakfast provided each morning, which was a lovely touch. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. To top it all off, the property boasts stunning views that made our stay even more memorable. Everything high quality - bedroom & bed, kitchen/dining, garden and a fantastic view of surrounding countryside. Jill & Phil were always happy to give excellent advice for dining, places to visit and local wineries etc. The three restaurants they recommended were all first class !

Everything was perfect. Jill and Phil were truly 5-star hosts who had thought of absolutely everything. They also gave us some fantastic recommendations for things to do and see. Silverdown is a beautiful, modern property perched on a hill with sweeping views—just a few kilometres out of Orange, and even closer to where we planned to go hiking. While the clouds meant we missed out on a full sunset, the outlook was still stunning. The house was immaculately styled with thoughtful touches throughout, making it feel instantly welcoming. It was stocked with so many little extras we didn’t expect: a light breakfast, fresh orange juice, and even a Nespresso machine. The bedroom was spacious, and the bed was hands down the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in—it felt like drifting into a cloud. The electric open fire in the lounge room was the perfect cozy touch on a chilly evening. We had such a wonderful stay at Silverdown and couldn’t fault a thing. We’ll definitely be back—there’s still so much to explore in Orange!
