“Perfect family escape in Orange”

We had the most wonderful stay at Griffin Getaway, and I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about it! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home — warm, welcoming, and perfectly set up for a family getaway. Travelling with kids can sometimes be stressful, but Griffin Getaway made every moment effortless and enjoyable. The little ones absolutely loved it, and seeing their faces light up made the trip truly unforgettable. There was plenty to keep them entertained, and we felt completely at ease the entire time. The highlight for us was undoubtedly the host. Genuinely one of the friendliest and most accommodating people we've come across. The front yard view was simply breathtaking — we found ourselves just stopping and soaking it all in. It's the kind of scenery that makes you want to sit down with a morning coffee and never leave! Orange itself is such a gorgeous region, and having Griffin Getaway as our base made exploring it all the more special. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already talking about when we can come back. If you're looking for a family-friendly escape in the Orange area, look no further. Highly recommend — 10 out of 10! 🧡

“Wonderful break in a great locatiom.”

From the moment we arrived we knew we had come to a special place. The accommodation is perfect. The photos don’t do it justice. The views are extraordinary and only a short drive to town. Very well appointed with electric blankets and a slow combustion fire for the cold nights. I couldn’t fault our stay.

Peaceful location. Rolling hills, sounds of nature, nice cleared area around the home, extremely spacious with many items not normally supplied at other places I have stayed, eg. a variety of wine and champagne glasses (it is wine country after all!), full kitchen facilities, plenty of boards for cheese platters etc.. Beautiful bath in the bathroom. Helen (host) went over and above to ensure our stay was everything we had hoped. Clear and prompt communication. She even called us whilst we were there to invite us to go watch some cattle work happening in the neighbour's property.

Property was very well appointed, in a quiet area, and felt homely and comfortable. From the heated blankets to coffee machine and BBQ, everything you could need had been thought of. Helen was very responsive and a wonderful host - would definitely stay at Griffin Getaway again next time I’m in Orange!

Beautiful property with great views of the farm, spectacular sunrise and sunset. Very convenient location only 15 minutes drive from town. Though you’ll end up wanting to spend more time here than anywhere else.

Perfect spot to get away with the family and relax in the countryside. The views were superb, lots of space both in and out of the house, and the kids loved spending time with the animals

The location is absolutely stunning, the farmhouse is well appointed and so cosy, and the hosts were lovely.

Could not have loved this place more for a winter break with our young kids. The place was warm and cosy, the views were beautiful, the kids loved feeding the chickens on a morning and running around the grounds. Short drive into town. Great place to rest and recharge and visit wineries

STUNNING location! Just perfect for a long weekend getaway from Sydney, Helen was an amazing host and the property is super cosy with views to die for across rolling hills, great heating for the colder months, and you just feel like you're in the country when town is only 10min drive away. Actually the drive to the property was one of my favourite parts, amazing views when you crest each hill, curious cows, and spectacular sunsets. Highly recommend.

The location felt secluded but we were only a short drive from town. We had the most beautiful sunsets and Helen the host was lovely taking us for a walk of the property to see the cattle

This place was amazing! A beautiful house in a beautiful location. Very relaxing and just what we needed during our trip. The host was so lovely and made us feel very welcome (the complimentary bottle of wine was very thoughtful and appreciated!). We absolutely loved staying here.

Great space with comfortable bedding, lovely views over the surrounds and ample amenities like a bluetooth speaker and a fireplace with firewood nearby. Less than 10 minutes drive to Orange means you are close to town but also feel quite secluded and by yourself.
