“Historic place to stay in Orange, we loved it!”

It was the perfect setting for a weekend getaway with three families. The house was well-appointed, exceptionally clean, and very spacious. We particularly appreciated that each bedroom had its own bathroom and air conditioning. The fireplace in the lounge room was also a beautiful touch.

Beautiful, quiet location only 10 minutes drive to Orange. Lovely rural views of the hills and cows grazing. Fabulous rustic restoration of sheep shearing shed, we loved how much of the working history was saved and left as a special feature in the accommodation. Perfect place for a large family or group getaway; private ensuite rooms and fully equipped kitchen, large dining table, and spacious separate living areas to accommodate many. We were the only guests staying, so had the luxury of having the whole place to ourselves! Helen was an exceptional host, very easy to contact, and welcomed us with freshly baked banana bread on arrival :) Lovely stay.

The surrounding was so beautiful, it was a quiet place, the host Helen was so friendly and helpful throughout the trip.

UNIQUE ACCOMMODATION EXPERIENCE ON A GREAT PROPERTY. IT IS SPACIOUS, HAS LOTS OF HISTORY AND POINTS OF INTEREST. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN, ONLY 5 MINUTES TO TOWN.

I liked that some of the features of its life as a shearing shed were retained, while providing warmth and comfort during our stay. Helen was very welcoming and the views beautiful.

“Great Group Accommodation in Orange”

This accommodation was very well located and was perfect for 5 travellers doing a wine trip away. Each bedroom was spacious and comfortable, with its own ensuite. The setting is rustic, with an element of style. Helen was a fantastic host. She was always available to answer any questions and provided a nice personal touch with homemade banana bread on arrival as well as plenty of full cream milk, teas and cereal. We have no hesitation in recommending this excellent accommodation. (This review was written by my partner, as the booking was made for him and some friends.)

Great welcome on arrival. The main dining area was great and accommodated all comfortably. Facilities were good. Atmosphere and ambiance was lovely.

This property is simply amazing! The ambiance and attention to detail are exceptional. The best stocked kitchen I've ever seen. All the bedrooms were a good size and very private from each other. The wood fireplace was great at keeping the place cosy.

We loved the quirkiness of the property being a converted shearing shed. Loved that each couple had their own bathroom. Everything you needed was there plus more. Highly recommend in fact we already have!
