It was very nice that even if you are just camping you can use the pool and restaurant in the beautiful lodge. The camping sites are part of the lodge. We felt safe here.

“Stunning views just in the city.”
Beautiful place just outside the city with stunning view. Each camping site has it's individual toilet and shower. Beautiful restaurant with good selection of fine food and wine and stunning view over the valley. Free fast Wi-Fi in main building.

The camp and lodge is located in a fenced area on a hill above the town. Safe parking and safe camping. Shelter, fireplace and house with toilet, shower and dishwashing. Hot water.

The campsite is located in large property of Opuwo country lodge. The steep winding rough road leads on top of the hill, whre the campsite is located. It offers nice view of Opuwo. We used the large campsite, which is well equipped, with shower and toilet, roofed terrace to set up the ground tents. There were 2 toilets and 3 showers for our site, which was comfortable. There is an outdoor kitchen, with of hot water and no working light. The sites are situated far enough to each other offering enough privacy. I can recommend it.

“Photos truly don't due it justice”
We ended up upgrading from the campsite to a room. We were happy we did. Very impressive view at the pool, much more dramatic than it seems from the photos, overlooking the entire valley next to Opuwo. Staff is super friendly and it has a very relaxed atmosphere. Spa was nice as well.

We changed from the campsite to a room which was lovely. The staff were able to assist us with the request, and we just had to pay the difference.
