“Hidden camping gem”

What a hidden gem that needs more recognition. Behind the gate is a beautiful camping site. Monica is a wonderful friendly kind and respectful lady who was incredibly helpful and a great hostess. Made us feel special and welcome. She had good knowledge of the area and roads which to use and to avoid etc. Loved chatting with her and learning from her. We had the whole camp site to ourselves. The place was meticulously clean, including the bathrooms. Monica was at work the next morning raking and cleaning the area that was already clean with such pride. Really value her work ethic. We had a great one nights camp but wished we had stayed longer. The road has potential for noise but settles down and is silent from about 21:00. It didn't put us off our stay. No WiFi but local MTC signal. There is a fridge and power usage for an extra fee.

Exceptional , warm hospitality which I have now grown to love about Namibia. So kind and helpful and made my stay there truly remarkable. Even though i was the only person there at the time , I was perfectly fine and just a short drive back into town. Well worth staying here - high recommended.

The place is nice, quite, very clean, the staff are very friendly and helpfull. The place is also very accessible and close to the road. I also enjoyed the showers and braai area
