Beautiful self contained room in the old church. Lovely garden surroundings, friendly welcome. Very comfortable and clean, lovely surrounding historic village. Able to recharge our bikes just outside.

Lovely historic church.Comfortable, well equipped, friendly, helpful, in a lovely peaceful historic settler village. Great for riding the Central Otago Rail Trail.

Location great & short walk to the pub for dinner. Room decor lovely with an outside courtyard and parking close by & off-street. Nice bathroom with good water pressure.

“Very comfortable stay”
Very comfortable bed and quiet location contributed to a good nights sleep after a 40 Km ride the previous day. Lots of room in the shower. The owner was welcoming and clear with instructions about the room.

Lovely very clean little room with ensuite a stone’s throw from the central Otago cycle trail. Felt very new and hygienic and so many thoughtful touches- welcome after a hot bike ride from Alexandra. Met by friendly owner who offered us fresh milk for our tea and breakfast. He even checked we were ok sharing the bed as two women. We did book at the last minute! :) A great option for couples doing the trial. Fair value for money. Pub is good- watch out the $8 bowl of chips is massive- about two standard scoops! So didn’t get to try out the dinner options after our post ride chips and beer ;)
