“Lo vely pet friendly place, in the nature next to the beach!”
New owners Bas and Ilona were amazing! The cabin was very clean and comfortable, perfectly suiting our needs for a two-day stay. The expansive property provided ample outdoor space for pets. The breakfast was outstanding, receiving a perfect 10/10, and the hospitality was truly exceptional, rated 11/10. We anticipate returning in the future and highly recommend this establishment.

“A great relaxing stay”
We spent 5 nights here. The owners are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is brought to your accommodation and has all the necessary food and drinks. We liked the rural aspect and its so quiet you get a good nights sleep.Chickens roam which adds to the atmosphere. Should you want to visit Amsterdam its only a 10k drive to Hoorn and then a 31 minute train journey to the centre. Would certainly like to return.

“We managed to relax and recharge. We highly recommend this place!”
It is a place for people who want to rest from the city and enjoy the beautiful nature around. The chickens roaming the yard were really cute and added to our stay. The cottage was well stocked with essentials: coffee, tea, dishes, towels, hairdryer, small fridge, dish soap. Inside was also surprisingly a lot of space. An additional plus was a catalog with the most interesting points in the area and tips from the owners. It was very nice, and it was available in few languages. The cottage was very clean and warm. Each cottage has a small terrace where you can have breakfast. Breakfasts are brought to the cottages by the owners at the agreed time. Warm buns, eggs, and other good things. We could really eat our fill. Bikes are available for rent on-site, and you can take a ride to nearby towns along a beautiful path that runs along the lake. Only a street separates us from the lake. There is a place for a picnic or bonfire literally a minute from the cottages. Beautiful place and very nice owners! We highly recommend it!

“If you need time alone to get away from city life this is the place to be.”
Cottage was surrounded by chickens, hens and the owner’s dogs. I loved it! I could also watch the goats and they would watch me. Loved the surroundings.

“Great rural place to stay - so well equipped - loved it”
Cabin was very comfortable and spacious, owners seemed to have thought of everything you could possible need. The beds & pillows were very cosy and comfortable - had a great sleep. Very good continental breakfast delivered to door, plenty of room to eat indoors but weather being good we ate outdoors with the chickens for company. Nice to be able to watch the goats and ponies mooching about too.

The whole experience was first class. The welcoming upon arrival. clearly nothing would be too much trouble but equally we were not disturbed. The accommadation was more than we expected and extreemly clean and tidy. Very comfortable bed and other facilities.

It is a very quite “village” style place, with chooks, ships, ducks and many more. Beautiful place the relax. Strongly recommend! Ask host for e-bikes.

The location is great. Our cabin was right next to the shed with goats an ponies , quite lovely! The lake is just across the road.
