Overview
Ter Helme is situated in the dunes, in between Oostduinkerke and Nieuwpoort. There is a sun terrace for warm weather and a playground for kids. Free WiFi is available in every room. Ter Helme offers rooms, studios and apartments. Furthermore there is an à-la-carte restaurant, a self-service restaurant and a bar/bistro. “Nice family-oriented hotel among the dunes”
The staff are very kind and welcoming. Rooms are very spacious. Kids facilities (internal + massive external playground) are a big plus. The location is very quiet and super covenient, in the middle of the dunes and 10 minutes walking from the beach and 20 minutes from Nieuwport. À la carte restaurant is good quality but a bit expensive - self-service restaurant is more affordable. Nice breakfast, with a lot of choice and good value for money. Tennis court.

“Nice place not far from the beach”
Nice clean place to stay for a family with kids, with playground at the hotel, and only a few minutes’ walk from the beach… Breakfast was good, staff at the reception and restaurant very friendly.

We thought we had booked a 4-person appartment. We ended up in a room with 2 regular beds and 2 bunk-beds. There we no facilities for doing own cooking, or even making own coffee or tea.

Room was huge, lots of space for a family of four and storage space (lots of room to store a pram). It was very clean and the bathroom facilities were great. It was very light. I cannot fault the room at all.
