A nice boutique hotel serving excellent food. Service was exceptional. The whole hotel was decorated with taste. The room we booked was not of big size but the design was amazing. There was a jacuzzi bath. The air conditioning was effective. It was a comfortable stay for us. We parked our car at the hotel car park and received warm welcome right away.

The property was very well maintained and look so lovely. Giving a 10 points rating is not sufficient. The property is very well designed and planned. It is so private and nice to stay.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the traditional Japanese meals served are surprisingly delicious—authentic with a refreshing touch and flavor. The design of the hotel is stylish and calming. Although there is no hot onsen on-site, other facilities meet the expectations for a relaxing holiday. The coffee machine in the room is a nice bonus. Overall, the day and night I spent at the hotel were extremely relaxing and enjoyable.

“Fantastic dinner and breakfast which makes up the location which doesn't offer a nice view nor onsen”
Both dinner and lunch were exellent! One of the best Japanese meals I've ever had. The room is a very pleasant mixture of Japanese and Western style, ie., the beds on tatami mats with a lovely bathroom, all very well thought out, beautiful and yet functional. I recommend to have dinner very strongly.

“Extraordinary set menu dinner and breakfast”
We had the most extraordinary, tasty breakfast that we’ve had in two weeks in Japan. Dinner was served in a private booth with six courses and an extensive list of wines and spirits to choose from. I drank the best sake I have had in Japan. The breakfast the following morning was equally delicious Again, always with local products. The staff were exceptional. Shuttle service to the train station.

“Fantastic”
Absolutely fantastic experience. Food was delicious and rooms were very comfortable and the perfect end to our Shimanami Kaido trip. We were very grateful to the chef for accommodating our meal preferences and creating a wonderful time for all of us. We had a lovely mini garden outside the room and everything looked so beautiful.
