It was so cute and traditional, the Japanese shared room was quite spacious and close to the toilet with a nice outlook.

“Beautiful”

It was quirky, down a narrow little alleyway with a beautiful garden and a stunning Japanese style room. The host was super helpful, spending half an hour of his time helping us to sort out our booking properly. The property was very easy to find, and since we arrived in the rain it was handy being in the arcade as we stayed dry on our 15 min walk from the station!

The hostel was quite social but for backpackers.

“Retro vibes in Onomichi”

Very homey and unique guest house. Situated on the shopping street, you can make it here mostly under cover from Onomichi Station. The guest house is tucked in at the back through a narrow alleyway. Inside, you will find yourself in a very retro Japanese style living room and kitchen and reception, with little knick knacks decorating the space. We did not cook during our stay, but from what we saw, the kitchen seemed small, but fairly well equipped. We stayed in the private room. Our room was fairly spacious, with a side room where we can look out into the garden. It is a shared toilet but since (for the private room side) there is only 2 room sharing. There was never a situation where we need to wait to use the toilet.

“super traditional japanese experience”

The guesthouse felt so authentic and was exactly what I imagined a typical japanese guesthouse to be like. The beds were traditional futon beds, the place itself was also super quiet and just very peaceful. They offer really nice breakfast in collaboration with the cafe at the front which was also very convenient. I will definitely be back here!

This place is amazing. Offers very traditional and homey vibe. With big kitchen and living room. Also has a garden. Perfect for anyone who would want to stay in traditional Japanese house

“Niche place neat stay”

Although we couldn't check in early, the staff helped us with our luggage storage, even after we checked out. There was a kitchen, the place was clean, when we asked the staff for suggestions for food he was being helpful as well

The style and design of the guesthouse is very cool and welcoming. It has a well equiped kitchen and the shared space had a lot of manga and board games that we were able to use.

Beautiful hostel in an old building. Comfortable and clean futons. You can spend an entire day looking at all the details in the common room while relaxing under the kotatsu.

It was a unique and interesting guesthouse. There are many small cute signs everywhere.
