“A Perfect Stay for the Shimanami Kaido”
Hotel Alpha-One is the perfect stay in Onomichi! I traveled with my brother and his girlfriend to bike the Shimanami Kaido. We were greeted by very friendly staff, clean rooms, and plenty of additional supplies for anything we forgot or needed additionally for the duration of our stay. We decided to bike the Shimanami Kaido in one day. It's in the perfect location, just a short walk from the train station, next to a lot of restaurants and shops along the same street. Everything was easy to find and get to from our hotel. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!

“Good location but hotel needs upgrading”
The hotel is very near the train station and bicycle rental station. For those who wish to cycle from Onomichi to Imabari, this hotel's location is great. There are lots of restaurants nearby and the walking street is only about 10m by foot. Breakfast was pretty ok.

“very helpful hotel”
i needed medical attention and the staff were very helpful getting me into hospital. I sprained my ankle and could not walk at all. The staff arranged for an ambulance to pick me up at the hotel and take me to Omonichi General Hospital.

“Good stay to start our cycling tour”
Excellent location, just 5 minutes away from the station. Hotel has all needed amendities and ideal for those who are planning shimanami kaido cycle.

Very helpful staff and amazing breakfast! I was staying there for 1 night to do the Onomichi Imabari bike ride, and it was an amazing decision. The hotel is located very near the station, and it was possible to leave the luggage there for the ride duration. I've seen that people were complaining about loud trains at night, but i didn't have this issue

“Vintage vibe”
Location close to the station, nice amenity kit and sweet treats, daily cleaning and very competent front desk staff - always willing to help and to overcome language barriers. Free bike borrowing was also convenient.

“Good hotel in the middle of Onomichi”
Albeit a little old, the room was clean. There was mold on the light-spot in the room. Which is my I'm not giving them a full score. The location is prima, just 3 minutes from the station.

“Great location”
The room was perfect for a short stay. Good location to the ferry terminal and bike hire for the Shimanami Kaido. Nice breakfast. Lovely staff.
