Everything in this hotel was wonderful! The room was very clean and we could fully enjoy the sea view sitting at the sofa at the room. The bathtub was superb. I stayed three nights and felt so relaxed.

Beautiful place to stay. We stayed there for 4 nights the first 2 mornings we had a traditional Japanese breakfast then on our 3rd morning it was Western style for our 4th morning we were able to choose. One night we had dinner there and it was an amazing traditional Japanese dinner with 8 courses. The onsen was nice had a beautiful view and was clean. Our room had an amazing view and it was easy to walk down the hill for a pre-breakfast walk along the coast. We booked a massage in our room and it was amazing. Best one we had during our travels in Japan. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Excellent Experience! We stayed at this resort for a week, and the entire experience was absolutely incredible. The resort itself is beautiful and offers an amazing view of the ocean. What truly made our stay standout was the staff. Both the front desk team and the restaurant staff were wonderful—always welcoming, friendly, and kind. The beautiful people working in the restaurant serve delicious food with genuine pride, making every single meal a wonderful experience. Thank you to all the amazing people at the front desk and in the restaurant. You made our stay so memorable and truly amazing. We highly recommend this place!

It was the best hotel experience we had in Japan, the staff was super nice and the room was great, also, the dinner and breakfast were amazing, full of traditional dishes and as a gastronomical lover, it was a great experience. Our waiter was super nice, sadly we didn't ask his name but made the experience even better. We would have loved to say goodbye to him, he was game changing. Great hotel for great value, it is placed right in the middle of the island so everything is practically close by.

We had an amazing time in the Ryokan with a wonderful sea view and room. I appreciate how the staff was able to accomodate to our needs and take care of us. As for example we could have a western breakfast.

The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming from the moment of arrival. The food was absolutely outstanding — everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can really tell they put care into both the service and the quality of the dishes.

“Great ryokan in Onna”

It was my second time visiting Nakamasou and I came back because I had enjoyed my first time so much. The rooms are stunning, spacious, ryokan-style and still modern with amazing views of Onna and the sea. It is very quiet and the hotel offers all amenities - a restaurant with great food and a fantastic staff, a public onsen and it's a short walk to the next village, although there is not much to do in the village - I recommend coming by rental car. One of the best places to stay in Okinawa.

I enjoyed the breakfast. They offered variety over two breakfasts. I totally enjoyed the bath in the room. However i would have liked some bath salts to use for the bath experience. I paid for one Kaiseki dinner. It was a beautiful experience. Staff did not notice it was also my birthday. So nothing special done. But the waiter who attended to me made it very enjoyable.

It was a truly wonderful experience for all of us, my three children and the grandparents - the staff were so warm and welcoming from the moment we drove up, the room was spacious and clean with an amazing coastal view (we saw a couple of double rainbows after the rain), they catered for our young children's needs meticulously at both breakfast and dinner, were able to provide a cot and baby bathtub and there was a lion dance show after breakfast and free popsicles outside the onsen to little ones' delight! And to top it all off, when my three year old left behind her beloved lovey, they found it for her in the room and helped to arrange to return it to us even though we had already left Japan - we are so grateful and will definitely be back!
