Beautiful small hotel in Okinawa with charming hosts, comfortable rooms, and beautiful nature. They have a large shared kitchen/lobby space with several pets and the staff were very attentive and helpful during our stay. You can borrow snorkeling equipment and go see some amazing fish right down on the bach.

The kindness and attention of the hotel staff. We met Takako, who is absolutely lovely, and also Woofie 🐶 and Vanilla 🐱 — a dog and a cat that you can find in the common area. Vanilla is such a friendly and talkative cat — I honestly miss her! ❤️ The hotel is located in a quiet area, right by the sea, and the views from the room or the first-floor terrace are truly breathtaking. There are common areas where you can cook, with a water dispenser and a fridge (though there’s also a small one in the room). We didn’t use them because we spent most of the day exploring, but they looked very convenient. The surroundings are peaceful and close to several points of interest. I highly recommend coming by car, though in Okinawa you’ll need one anyway to really enjoy the island. The check-in process is automatic — when you arrive, you’ll find your room keys hanging on the door and every morning they leave a couple of bottles of water for you. The room itself is spacious and has a small balcony with chairs, perfect for relaxing while looking at the ocean. Everything feels very calm and comfortable.

One of the most beautiful piace I ever been. The staff was friendly and really funny. Everything was perfect. A corner of paradise. I felt like home. Watching the sunset from the lobby or the balcony was a pleasure every day. The beach in front of the house is amazing

We had a wonderful time at Sunset Beach House! 🌅 The location is absolutely stunning, right by a beautiful beach. The rooms are very spacious, and the atmosphere feels like home rather than a hotel. The staff were super kind and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely come back here the next time we are in Japan!

“A true Okinawa experience”

Sunset Beach House is a hidden gem in Okinawa. Located right in front of the beach which is perfect for relaxing, enjoying the beach and the truly gorgeous sunset. The balcony with tables and outdoor patio is perfect to cool down in the afternoon. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is also a washing machine available if you need to do some laundry. The staff is SO kind and friendly. Would definitely go back and would recommend 100%.

“Very relaxed days at Sunset Beach House”

Very clean, comfortable room with a stunning view, both from the room but also the cosy terrace. Super nice hosts, very inviting and helpful when you have questions or just want to chat at the cosy common area. General very relaxed atmosphere with cute animals running around. There is a private beach right in front of the house, more beautiful beaches can easily be reached by a 10 to 20 minutes walk. There are also good Restaurants nearby, as well as two supermarkets reachable by foot. Remote but well connected location if you want to enjoy calm and relaxed days on Okinawa. Highly recommend!

“March vacation at Sunset Beach House”

We were in Room A and had an excellent view of the beach, the sea and the sunset! We love the Sunset Beach House gang - Woofy, Vallina and Mango. They are the pets in the house. The kitchen and dinning area was lovely! We made our own breakfasts and dinners there. The cutlery were beautiful!😍 The owner Alan and manager Isao were super friendly and helpful.

Our hosts went above and beyond helping us to book and organise things in the city. Gave suggestion and inside information and knowledge. There were heaps of animals at the property which was fantastic as we missed our babies back home so it helped fill the void.

We had a wonderful stay in Okinawa! The room was perfect, just as described. A large, comfortable bed and, above all, a stunning view of the sea. We met our host, who was very kind, welcoming, and gave great advice! The common area has everything you need and is very pleasant to spend time in. You’ll be in great company with Vanilla the cat and Mango the bird. We went snorkeling in the sea, both with a guide and a second time with the equipment provided by our host. We can only recommend staying at Sunset Beach House, we hope to return someday! Merci et au revoir😁
