“A true Macedonian country experience”

This was everything we hoped it would be and more! A perfect Macedonian country experience. Kata and Vancho were so welcoming and friendly. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast on a table set up in the garden. The attention to detail was so lovely, table cloth, beautiful crockery and then most importantly the delicious dinner with fresh produce out of their garden. They were able to make everything fully vegan and it was stunning including the fresh herbal tea with garden herbs. There are many areas to relax and it is incredibly peaceful with a stream running down the back. We loved exploring the local village the next morning. Also instructions on how to get there was very helpful.

We had an amazing 2 night stay with the wonderful Kata as our host. The location met all of our expectations, peaceful, beautiful scenery, and the feeling of having travelled back in time. This is the perfect place to de-stress, and relax. The breakfast which was homemade by Kata, and included in the price, was sooo delicious. Thank you Kata for being such a kind and very accommodating host, our stay with you in Omorani was the highlight of our trip!

For those seeking a unique and authentic getaway, this place is a true gem. Hosts Kata and Vancho are incredibly kind and hospitable, treating guests to a home-cooked dinner under the stars, made with love and ingredients from their garden and local farmers. Surrounded by nature and far from the noise of everyday life, this peaceful retreat offers a deep sense of calm and connection. We’ll gladly come back again ♥️

Vancho and Kata really go out of their way to make their place an exceptional experience. We had an absolutely blissful time all the while learning about Macedonian culture. The atmosphere is intimate but very laid back - just what we like.

The incredible and freshly made food as well as the location. If you want to have a relaxing time, visit this place as it is incredibly calming.

The location is amazing, it's one of the greenest, calmest regions in Macedonia. The village is small, and almost empty, it looks like time stopped there. The peace, the sounds of the surrounding nature - make it a perfect getaway. The house itself is mesmerizing, every piece of furniture, decoration etc. is carved and placed with a lot of love and detail. The hosts Vancho and Kata are very warm, friendly and welcoming people. They will surely make you feel like you are at home. Their homemade breakfast was delicious, the goods they produce themselves that you can buy at the property are also amazing. All in all, a very unique and delightful stay.

Home-made food and the politeness of the hosts, made us feel very welcoming. The quiet neighborhood was the bonus and didn't expect that level.

“Great experience”

Everything was lovely! It's a perfect countryside dream and I'm so sad we couldn't stay longer. We had great discussions with Kata, she's one of the best hosts I ever met and the ginger liqueur is incredible. The clear starry sky, the sounds of cowbells ringing in the evening, the one dog barking in the night brought me almost to tears thinking about my great grandma's house. The breakfast is really good and healthy. I really hope I will return there as soon as possible.

We loved our experience at Rancho, it's such a unique and special place. Kata looked after us so well. The traditional Macedonian food was so good and we learnt so much about the culture. Our room was very comfortable and we loved using the pool and having our meals in the beautiful garden. The food that Kata cooks is amazing. The homemade Ginger liqueur is delicious, enjoyed meeting other guests and made a little friend in the ginger cat! You can relax here, surrounded by nature and you can trek to the monastery! For people without a car, it is possible to get to this wonderful retreat by train which is about a 3km walk. Highly recommend.

Amazing place for a weekend getaway! Peaceful location where the only sounds you hear are insects, birds, animals and wind. Homemade food for breakfast and dinner and Dora makes the best Frappe cafe ☺️ I recommend to anyone who wants to connect with nature.

The best night in our Macedonia road trip. Very friendly hosts. Nice and cosy rooms. In the middle of nowhere that's why it's great. Outside is chillin. Little swimming pool, quiet, great view for the stars on the sky. If you are thinking about stay, don't think. Just do it. Highly recommend. Yummy breakfast - fresh and tasty. It's possible to take additional dinner. If we have a chance to go back to Macedonia we will back to rancho. Kata, Vancho and their doughter are super welcoming. Hope to see them again ❤️

We stayed here for one night and had amazing time! Very pleasent hosts, unique house, garden and pool are great, had really nice breakfast, huge recomendation for this place!

“Exceptional”

This is a little paradise, literally in the middle of nowhere. Kata and Vancho make sure that you have everything you need. It was an unique experience!

We really really enjoyed our stay!! The Rancho is tucked away in a little village, only around 1 hour from Skopje, and we enjoyed the beauty and stillness of it. Vancho was a very attentive and helpful host. THANK YOU for everyting! We will hopefully return someday!
