The apartment is very near to the train station but you have to climb up the steep stairs with dust before checking in. Don't let this put you off. This is a traditional Japanese house which used to live with big family. It offers essential basic need suitable for 5 persons at reasonable price. If you want to explore more in Omihaciman, I would recommend the stay.

“What an excellent find! Made our first visit to Omihachiman comfortable, convenient, & affordable!”
Easy walk from the train station, shopping district, affordable restaurants, and a coin laundromat with powerful dryers. Built in a 2-story loft style, was very spacious, with more than enough room for 4 adult travelers + luggage. The free WiFi was excellent. The full kitchen--with fridge, microwave, toaster oven, hot pot, rice cooker, coffee maker, pots, dishes, & scissors--made it easy for us to prepare meals, snacks, & hot drinks. The traditional shower/bath combo, modern toilet, and washing machine made our 5-day stay feasible. We had to learn how and remember to turn on the hot water each time before using the tub/shower. When it rained, we were able to use umbrellas stored in the foyer. The fluffy futons made sleeping in the tatami rooms extra cozy!

“Very spacious, great location, easy parking.”
Extremely spacious property, more rooms than we realised. Well stocked kitchen and coffee making facilities (if you bring your own beans/coffee). Really good WiFi. Convenient, easy parking. Lovely location for Omihachiman.

“Brilliant stay- highly recommend”
We booked the entire place and it was so lovely. The hosts have thought of everything- there was even toys for the kids. Beautiful and warm in winter and very spacious. Kitchen has everything you might need and the washing machine and dryer were a bonus. Accommodation was also very clean.
