“반드시 또 와야만 하는 곳♡”

This guesthouse perfectly captures everything I love about the Maldives through all of my many trips here. It has all the charm of a local island that I adore — the stunning sandbank, the beautiful turquoise sea, the lovely white seagulls and even the little black crows that give the island its own character. Even the hammocks are placed in such a romantic and atmospheric way, and the parasols are sturdy, stylish, and add so much to the seaside scenery. All of this truly reflects Fernando’s wonderful sense of style and care in creating Suvaasa Inn. Fernando and Taichi are incredibly thoughtful, warm, and joyful hosts. We don’t feel like just guests anymore — we feel like friends. We truly hope to meet again someday. 💙

“Local style”

True hospitality on local island begins and ends with the person who takes care of you. Suvaasa is blessed enough to have Fernando (don't let yourself get mistaken he is maldivian and uses this nickname) who makes your stay memorable, fascinating, easy, funny, musical and many more. We went to picnic island where we had a fish caught on the spot. What a great experience ...in the middle of nowhere fishing, snorkelling then having a barbecue grouper... We went for fishing trip the other day, traditional line fishing, very funny and after the trip the traditinal garudhiya was prepared of caught tuna. We enjoyed together maldivian music also bodu beru with Fernando simultaneously drumming. It was only 4 days but it felt like much more. Fernando's family prepared all meals for me, local style, homemade, I can't praise them enough for true maldivian taste. I can compare, I've been to 15+ islands but food here is the best. From mashuni to garudhiya, from kulhimas to kirugarudhiya, everything perfect. The accomodation is simple but clean and if you need anything Fernando is on watsapp. The beach is great, I had it just for myself, the ocean os clean so is beach and the thundi gives it a specific feeling. Snorkelling is from the shore and keeps you occupied for hours. I hope I can make it there again next year cause local islands like this are slowly dissapearing due to a mass tourism.
