“Cozy little place away from the crowds!”

The place is amazing! The couple running it are so nice and always try to talk to you even if you don't speak any japanese. They are super helpful if you have anything to ask and they're always one step ahead (like turning on the heater before you arrive or leaning your wet shoes towards the heater). The breakfast was nice as well (western or japanese)! There is nothing I was missing from this stay.

Lovely hosts, clean, had a good breakfast and was good value for money. Nice heated entrance where you can leave your clothes to dry.

I recommend Raum Sanso 100%. Everything in my stay was perfect. The house is very nice, clean and cosy - located just 10 mins by foot away from 2 beautiful lakes. The hosts are extremely kind and did everything to make my stay great. The breakfasts and diners were some of the best food I have enjoyed in Japan! Hope to come back soon

So thankful for this traditional place and the super kind owners. A lovely area in the middle of nature, close to many great experiences in the mountains and forests.

Lovely couple who ran the place that was more of a homestay. The owner recommended great places for touring on my motorcycle and treated me like one of their own. Their meals are a must try and they really go out of their own way to make you feel at home. Truly the epitome of omotenashi. The location is rather out of the way so I would definitely recommend a personal vehicle. Would definitely return here again if I could!

This accommodation was perfect for us to just have a room for a night. The beds were comfortable and with two rooms we had lots of space. The owners were accommodating and friendly. They also prepared a delicious continental brekkie.

Very friendly en helpful hosts! We had once western style breakfast and the other morning Japanese style. Both were good.
