Nice cottage stay

The restaurant staff went out of their way to provide us with delicious breakfasts and dinner, including catering for complex dietary needs. All the hotel staff were incredibly warm, friendly and helpful. The location is amazing.

“Highlight of our trip”

We loved the japanese traditional tatami sleeping set up. The pillows n quilt made me felt like i was sleeping on clouds. The free coffee corner with of micro wave oven was great. The chocolate drink was really good.

our 1st time to Kurobe, Mai san & her team tried to help us to get the tickets to Alpine but is fully booked. The hotel surprised me by helping my husband to prepare a birthday cake & upgraded our room. The rooms are clean & Japanese Breakfast I like it very nice.

We had a hire car-great location,nice and quiet,close to Hakuba and Ogizawa Station for Kurobe Alpine Walk, nice large room with seating area with views of forest and river, traditional japanese breakfast and dinner.Nice outdoor onsen with views.Tremendous staff very helpful.Would stay here again

“The location of this hotel is it's biggest drawback - but the in house onsen is nice”

The staff and most especially Ellie who really saved our family vacation. The rooms were nice. The breakfast a set meal in the Japanese restaurant in the hotel was nice and the breads were nice. It was nice to come down and have breakfast all set up for you. The breakfasts did lack some variety and really other than the breads there were no Western options. The Onsen in the hotel was very nice as were the provided japanese clothing that you could use to go to the Onsen (or even breakfast). If you are staying without a car I'd suggest the full meal plan as you can not walk into the restaurant for dinner.

The staff was amazing, above and beyond is an understatement. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel was nice. A bit far from Hakuba but the shuttle buss was very helpful and if you have a car that is not a problem!

“Nice location if you want to go skiing in Hakuba Valley”

Staffs are quite helpful even though they could rarely speak English. The hotel is located at a practical distance from Hakuba Valley if you rent a car and there's a lot of parking space. There aren't many restaurants in the area, though, so better reserve seats or go early for your dinner.

Hotel location located is good, its around 25 minutes drive to Hakuba and 15 miunutes drive to closer AEON and Restaurant. For breakfast, earlier is 7am and 7.30am only, 8.30am breakfast already close.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. The room size is good for a family of 4.

The hotel was a convenient location when visiting the Kurobe Alphine Route from the Ogizawa side when you have a car. The area surrounding the hotel was quiet, as was the Omachi town during our visit in 14-15 Oct. The hotel itself was rather grand, the rooms were comfortable and of good size, and the beverage corner near the reception was well-stocked. Special mention goes to Ms Bunkei Man. She was most helpful, spending time helping me to book online tickets and offering suggestions of restaurants and places of interest to visit. I rate her a 10/10 for customer service.
