Located at the base of Squaw Valley Ski Resort, this year-round aparthotel features 8 hot tubs and upscale apartments with fully-equipped kitchens. Guests enjoy convenient access to shopping, dining and ski facilities. Free WiFi, a balcony and a seating area with fireplace and cable TV are included in each studio or apartment at the Village at Squaw Creek. An en suite bathroom is also included. Accessible only by aerial tram (ticket required), the Terrace Restaurant and Bar features panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada mountains, Lake Tahoe and Squaw Valley. A fitness centre and saunas are offered. Ski passes can be purchased at the The Village at Squaw Valley. Ski storage is included with each unit. Grocery delivery services are offered. Free parking is included. Lake Tahoe is 15 minutes’ drive away. Reno-Tahoe International Airport is 50 minutes’ drive away from The Village at Squaw Valley.

“A great base for hitting the slopes in April. Access to everything. Can highly recommended the Dubliner for a meal, too.”
Awesome location, friendly staff, perfect steamy hot tubs outside! Loved having our own drying room for ski clothing in our room. Easy access to free ski lockers at base of property. Good laundry room.

Staff was great and super accomodating. Allowed us to check in early and have a later checkout. Location was perfect and super easy to get around!

The apartment like layout of the accommodation is very suitable and functional. It is ideal for families and groups. It is worthwhile to use the fully equipped kitchen. Surrounding restaurant prices are very high. It is also advised to bring your own food, because the little "supermarket" at the location has insane prices.... and at check out they ask even for tip. (pasta sauces in jar = 16,- / 18,- $)

Location was great, room was lovely. We had requested a late check out before staying, we were told this would be ok. We are travelling with our toddler so this was important to arrange for naps before moving to next location. We called on the morning of check out to double check, we were told that a 3pm check out would be possible at a charge of $50 an hour, we discussed this and called back to confirm. We were then told that service is not possible today, we asked to speak to the previous person we got on the phone who had agreed a price etc. we were told very sternly that we were talking to his manager and that it’s not possible, no apology and hung up. I walked down to the front desk to complain to the manager but he was “busy”. Not very family friendly in that sense.

“Awesome location for quick access to slopes”
The location was amazing, we were so close to the ski lifts. It was super easy to walk everywhere in the village. The room was spacious and warm. Well equipped kitchen, good for cooking in. The hot tub was also nice.

“Way overpriced”
For the Olympics facionado it is great to revive the '60ies. The hotel is right in the middle of the valley and the place where many Olympians stayed.
