“A get away to cherish for a lifetime 🫶😍”

We had the best stay in one of their VIP room with huge space, comfy bed, massive living room, relaxing balcony in front of wide garden nature view which we really desire, a total escape, peace quite and away from city noises. They have nice variety of food in the restaurant, all inclusive and the staff were all very friendly, accommodating and kind. They are very helpful which we really appreciate. On the other hand, we had to leave one day early before our booking ends due to miscommunication and misunderstanding with Daniel in regards with our game drive. However, we had the best, unforgettable and awesome game drive. We saw the big 5 in the same day which according to them was very uncommon, so we feel so grateful and so so blessed beyond measure. On the top of that, it’s my first time to do a game drive and seeing all 5 in one day was truly special and memorable. We saw buffalo, leopard, elephant, rhino and lions. Lions - while they mating. (Can you believe that, I have video)😍 Overall, it was the best experience we have at Kenya, spending Christmas at Nairobi and New year at Masaai Mara. We also able to rent a car and we had the road trip in our life that we will never forget. Hard to explain but the experience was top-tier! It was wild, crazy, super duper intense, roller coaster of emotions, we got stuck in the mad so many times, rains pours on and off along the way. Had to drive in the cliff with only two wheels on because 3 big trucks was in the middle of a one way road without drivers on it. Our car was totally moving sideways, which i honestly seen only in the movie. It was midnight and for first timers - we are not familiar with the road. It was really extreme experience! It takes a lot of courage for a one hell of adventure!💪 My husband was the best driver in the whole world! 🤪😍 A get away to cherish for a lifetime. Thank you Kenya 🇰🇪❤️

“Fabulous”

We had booked a cottage, upon arrival they upgraded us with a beautiful luxury lodge. Daniel the tour operator was very helpful and he assisted with the transport and has a very calming laid back nature. Only downside for such a place is the vegetarian option is very limited as many vegan and vegetarian travels. Packed lunch was ok but could have more sandwich filling choices like vegetables with avocado The lodge was very clean and serene scenery out in the wilderness and in the heart of the Masai Mara Park. Safari was good also. Just some safari staff could be better trained to keep the tourists a bit more engaged. Hot air balloon was a lifetime experience- a Must !!! We loved it. We spent two nights at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge and our experience was truly exceptional from start to finish. The hotel kindly upgraded us to a beautiful Glass VIP Room, which offered stunning views and a very comfortable stay. They also arranged an excellent tour guide for our game drives – he was polite, knowledgeable, and caring, making our safari experience unforgettable. Every member of staff we met was warm and attentive, providing truly caring and professional service throughout our stay. We were delighted to find that all drinks were included and free, which added to the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, Jambo Mara Safari Lodge exceeded our expectations on every level. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning in the future!

We have been at Jambo Mara for two night to experience an unforgivable safari. We have been unlucky with the weather getting showers both evenings and eventually suffering a bit the absence of heaters in the room. That said, everything at Jambo Mara is great, from reception to the rooms (we had the glass lodge), from food to location. We simply loved it.

The glass room apartment. Cleanliness and overall setting which was excellent . Beautifully presented with spacious garden space. Very helpful and accommodating staff. Rooms cleaned every day to a very high standard . The walkway to the restaurant was also lovely with beautiful plants either side of the pathway. Lovely market on the lawn too with a good choice of local craft. Within walking distance to a Masai village which we visited and was a great treat to see rural life at its best.

Location, bordering the Masai Mara NP. Being outside actually provides more flexibility. We arrived in the late afternoon, if we had chosen accommodation inside the National Park we would have paid US$200/pp (US$50/child under 18yo) simply to access our accommodation. Regardless of staying inside or outside the park - visitors pay park fees on a daily basis. We were very fortunate and grateful to receive a complimentary upgrade to a glass cabin room. Stepping inside, the room was comparable to a 4.5 star hotel room in the west. The bed and the bedding was super comfortable; bathroom was faultless

We also greatly appreciate their willingness and empathy in addressing our complaint regarding the scope of services. Everything was resolved to our full satisfaction. The staff was incredibly accommodating and did everything possible to make our stay unforgettable. Our stay at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge was truly wonderful, and we would love to return.

Really high price for very basic little cottage. Food was cold, not very tasteful. It all comes across as being in a large canteen on a schooltrip.
