Centrally located between train terminal and town square

The hotel was very clean and in a great location. Our bed was warm and comfortable. When we arrived it was quite late and understandably there was no hot water but the young man at reception organised it for us. Breakfast was ample we had scrambled eggs and fresh bread. There was fruits, juice, tea and coffee. The staff we very helpful.

We had an excellent 3-night family stay at Hotel El Chasqui in Ollantaytambo, Peru, from the moment we arrived The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere, very clean rooms, and a perfect location to explore the beautiful town of Ollantaytambo and the Sacred Valley. We especially loved waking up to the peaceful surroundings and stunning mountain views. The staff were always helpful with assistance whenever we needed it. We highly recommend Hotel El Chasqui to anyone visiting Ollantaytambo — a perfect place to relax and enjoy the magic of Peru!

Not much. It was at least in walking distance of the train station and the staff were helpful in letting us store our baggage.

Right in the plaza. Large room with a king single and a queen bed. Comfortable beds. Good size shower. Toilet with bidet. Simple breakfast with bread, coffee, a variety of teas and fruit. Eggs included to how you want them cooked. Everything right outside the door including mini market, food, laundry and tourism office. Train station a 5 to 10 minute walk. Good, fairly easy walk up the ollantaytambo site that you walk to from the marketplace. Ticket office in marketplace.

Location is superb, just next to the main square, restaurants and ruins. Friendly staff.

The location was excellent. The room was great and the beds were the best. Clean and very comfortable hotel. We enjoyed the quaint town and the hotel.

“Lovely location and value for money”

Location is amazing and happening. Lot of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, right outside. And ofcourse Ollantaytambo archaelogical site is also only 5 minutes away, which is an easy climb with beautiful views and history at the top. Ollantaytambo rail station is only 8-10 minutes walk .Wifi was good, Staff is very helpful.

Not far from the train station, we walked there on our own. A nice, clean hotel with pleasant service. We’re especially grateful for the beautiful view from the room.

Excellent service by the staff members, comfortable rooms, close to the square, train station and Sun Temple ruins. Amazing view of the mountains from the room on 3rd floor. David was very helpful with luggage storage to information and recommendation. Breakfast was good as well with bread, coca leaves tea, scrambled egg, butter, banana etc
