“A place to relax and unwind.”

Lovely Hotel nestled in the mountains close to a sky full of stars when sky is cloudless. I enjoyed my stay, so much so that I ended up staying 2 more days ,Hotel is a beautiful walk away from the main town. Carlos also has great recommendations for local hikes and transportation and is very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is right at the foot of the mountain, surrounded by farmland and beautiful landscapes. It takes about 6 minutes to walk to the Plaza de Armas or you can take a tuk tuk for 5 soles and it takes only 1 minute to get to the hotel is one minute, which is very convenient. Clean and the garden is full of flowers and plants. The staff is very enthusiastic and provides useful information and helps you book tuk tuk to the train station, so you don't have to worry about missing the train to Machu Picchu the hotel has very good internet and beautiful views

I loved my stay at Casa Samay! Carlos the manager is a perfect host, and fun to chat with. I really liked the location - it's very quiet, and the walk into the center of town is lovely. My bed was AMAZING. So comfortable!!! Thank you, Carlos, for everything.

Casa Samay is quaint and charming It is a walk form the town, but the scenery is stunning and the walk is very enjoyable. Carlos was so friendly and eager to help me and answer all my questions. It really feels like he’s welcoming you into his home. Very clean, and quiet too. Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Samay, it was so peaceful such an amazing view! Carlos was so informative about Ollantaytambo’s history, culture and activities! Have no complaint and would highly recommend to anyone

Would like to express my gratitude towards the hostel manager, Carlos. He’s genuinely a very good man who looked after me during my stay and was very helpful and informative on activities to do around the area. He is very passionate about his job and it shows. Can’t recommend this place enough! Will certainly be coming back on my next visit.

Casa Samay is a wonderful family run hostel nestled in the beautiful mountains. Located just a few minutes walk from the plaza de armas, you can enjoy peace and tranquility here. The best part for me was the fabulous host Carlos who have me mutliple tips about the area. He is constantly trying to improve the hostel and I really think more people should stay here!
