“Perfect for an overnight stay before Machu Piccu. On the direct train line and very pretty village”

Top location before a trip to Inca Trail the following day. Lovely setting away from the busier centre in the cobbled alleys. Lovely views and a balcony. Hammocks great in the garden.

Lovely lodge in a quiet part of town with a pretty garden with hummingbirds. Friendly, helpful staff especially Leo who spoke very good English. Huge room with comfortable bed.

We absolutely loved this sweet hotel. It is at the end of a road and very quiet at night. The gardens around the hotel are lovely and full of beautiful flowers which attract hummingbirds. The views of the Inca ruins are spectacular. We were welcomed so warmly and were assisted with booking a car to take us to Cusco at a very reasonable price when we left. We felt like family and had lovely chats with the manager about Peru and our home country and were very sad we didn't have more time there.

“Just a wonderful experience”

The location is stunning set at the end of a beautiful cobbled street in the old town. Surrounded by amazing Mountain Views and lush gardens full of hummingbirds. The staff were brilliant and the breakfast was just right and run by an efficient morning team. Also the lovely guy who bought our bags up and down from the lodge was brilliant.

Lovely hotel down a quaint cobbled passageway with a beautiful peaceful garden among stunning scenery. We really enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. We loved Ollaytaytambu and preferred it to Aguas Calientes and Cusco!

“Excellent stay”

Apu Lodge was in a lovely quiet location at the edge of the town and we appreciated the garden and mountains around us. Staff were all so helpful and friendly - arranging taxis, suggesting itineraries and local walks. We spent a couple of nights here before going to Machu Pichu and left our luggage in the hotel and returned for another couple of days afterwards. It was very convenient.

Lovely people, quaint place and would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting this Lovely town on their way to machu pichu. A short walk from the main square and they send a cart and someone to help with luggage etc.

Perfect location in the village, clean rooms & lovely staff! They were so accommodating helping us organise taxis, early breakfast or whatever we needed.

Nice, clean and cozy place. Very friendly and helpful staff. They helped us arrange transfer from the airport and taxi rides for sightseeing. Quiet location, but still close to the city center. Good breakfast. Highly recommend!

“Perfect.”

This beautiful property surrounded by flowers, birds (including the Giant hummingbird), ruins and butterflies was my favourite place in a round the world trip. I could easily have stayed a week or more. The staff are just wonderful and made everything so easy including helping us with our suitcases (with a trolley) to and from the property from the square - necessary with the cobblestones. They also helped us with a driver from Ollyantambo to Cusco via the Pisac ruins last minute (after our organised driver cancelled) at a very reasonable price. The breakfast was delicious, the room huge with comfortable beds and a stunning view (the two of us stayed in the family room I think as it had a double bed and 3 singles!). It was very affordable, and the perfect place to stay in magical Ollantaytambo. Ollantaytambo with its cobblestone streets with water canals, ruins surrounding you, and charming people will delight you.

Second time in several years staying here. Quiet, pretty little place, on a quiet lane in the corner of Ollantaytambo. Highly recommended.

Just loved our 3 nights here. After the bustle of Lima and Cusco, so welcomed to be in this gorgeous gardened oasis. They even have a chart of what birds to watch out for in their garden full of flowering and fruiting trees. The views to the archaeological sites of ollantaytambo from here are second to none. So special to have a balcony to soak it up from. Lovely staff. Leo was incredibly helpful . His suggestions really made our stay here . And getting our laundry done here and air dried on their washing line was such a welcomed treat. I could spend at least a week here!! Loved the books we could borrow during our stay and the 24/7 tea water offering . Kids loved the hammocks

“Absolutely perfect accommodation in Sacred Valley, would gladly return for another long stay”

Cannot imagine finding a more comfortable hotel to base in Sacred Valley. Lovely spacious room with a balcony overlooking a flower and tree filled garden (with hummingbirds!). Comfortable beds with cozy linens and extra pillows ensured restful nights. From the moment of our arrival to our departure today, the staff made us feel welcome and cared for our every comfort and question. The breakfast was ample with everything from a veggie & cheese filled omelette to scrumptious fresh mango, bananas and mandarin oranges with yogurt and muesli. We wholeheartedly recommend the Apu Lodge based on our 6-night stay and would love to come back another time.

The most beautiful garden to relax it - hammocks included plus space for groups to sit. Fantastic location - close to town and restaurants. Very friendly and accomodating staff Received assistance with luggage with was useful with suitcases on the cobblestones

“Lovely base for exploring the Sacred Valley”

The views were amazing. Perfect location close to the restaurants and for exploring the local town. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful in arranging the taxi to visit the other sites in the Sacred Valley. I wish we had spent longer here!
