“A short overnight stay en route from Madrid to Pamplona to visit our daughter”
Wonderful historic building although the room was in modern part. It was well-equipped and comfortable, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, and in the restaurant which served really good food for dinner with excellent wine so reasonably priced. The location is right in the historic centre of town, and not too far from the carpark, although you can drop off your bags right outside the door for 20mins. Couldn't recommend more highly. We also REALLY appreciated the generous 12 pm check-out.

“A great experience in a lovely castle”
Breakfast was fine. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and when we arrived we had the best welcome we’ve ever had in Spain thank you Laura! Lots of information and help. We loved our room. Ask the rooms are different, so you don’t know what shape your time will be as rings are all built into the original castle, and our windows were high up, but we enjoyed the experience. Parking is very easy in Olite - there are a few public car parks within walking distance of the hotel - you just drive into the car-free town and you have 20 minutes to unload/load - just make sure you give the reception staff your number plate. We were lucky to be in Olite for their annual festival - lots happening and the reception staff are so helpful. They also directed us to a bodega and we were lucky enough to see the delivery of a truck load of grapes as it’s harvest time at the moment. A super experience and an amazing place to stay. We’ll definitely be back.

“Could be a very special place, but needs some serious updating”
The Parador is on the central square of the old town of Olite, in part of the castle. The location is perfect for visiting the impressive castle/palace and for exploring the attractive old town. We arrived to find there was a local fiesta happening, which made it even more fun. Although it is located in a pedestrian area, you are allowed to stop for 15 minutes to drop off your luggage and check-in, then park your car in a free public car park within 5 minutes' walk. Our room was quiet, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom and bedding was clean. The ladies on reception were particularly friendly, helpful and multilingual. The breakfast price was more than we wanted to spend, so we chose to eat in one of the many nearby cafés and bars, which worked well. We ate once in the restaurant. It was a treat for us and not as expensive as we had expected; the food was perfectly acceptable, as was the service, but nothing special.

The Parador was located in a beautiful building in the centre of a lovely town. The beds were extremely comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

“Sleeping in the rooms of previous kings and queens, fantastic location”
This is an old palace and it felt grand and impressive. Room was big and had the fell of sleeping in an historic environment but with all the modern comforts Location is the best in Olite
