Overview
Situated in the Medieval centre, this hotel is located just a 2-minute walk from the fabulous Olite Palace and nestled within the beautiful, rural surroundings of Navarra. Take the short stroll down one of the most attractive streets in Olite to the impressive Palace. Once a castle to the Visigoth kings, it was then converted to a Palacial home by Charles III. You will notice the eclectic mix of architecture that combines Gothic arches with turreted walls and regal gardens. After a busy day of Medieval culture, return back to the simple comforts of Hotel Rural with its clever contrast of the traditional façade and sleek interior design. Breakfast is served in the café. Gluten-free breakfasts are available on prior request. Reception working hours is limited and does not open 24h.

“Castle view room”
Great value in Olite. Easy self checkin. Comfortable mid size room, with a great view of the castle, on the top floor. Parking away from hotel easy to find, very safe town. Perfect for our 1 night stay.

“Top floor review”
The place was clean and styles nicely. We slept on the top floor, which had a slanted roof with two windows in it, but it had a nice airco and good shower. And the place was easy to check in yourself via a link I got sent. And slap bang in the middle of the beautiful town.

“STAY HERE AT YOUR PERIL”
This hotel has no reception and no human interaction at all times. At no point during the online booking with Booking.com was this flagged up. If it had, I would have chosen another hotel. Instead, arriving late and in the dark, I was left standing in the street being asked for passport photographs in Spanish (which I fortunately speak) on whatsapp before being sent a code to key on the door pad and very confusing instructions on how to open the two entrance doors and then the room number (HAB NO). Trying to call the whatsapp number only got a message to say no one was available. As for the accommodation, it turned a bad start into an awful night - bed and pillows were rock hard, extremely uncomfortable and giving anything but a restful night.
