It feels like the swimming pool is in a botanical garden - fabulous. Superb peaceful place to hang out and spend the day. Great location. It is a pleasant stroll out into town, but the restaurant at the hotel is also good.

Beautiful palm-lined estate in colonial style with swimming pool and terrace dining area, an oasis in the city. Friendly staff, at least one of whom speaks English (a rarity in Brazil), good service, comfortable air conditioned rooms, vast breakfast buffet with different fruits and cakes each day

Beautiful setting with gardens and sculptures surrounding the pool and buildings. The buffet breakfast was full of homemade and homegrown produce.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. After a two-week tour of Brazil, this was a wonderful place to relax. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast buffet was plentiful. The old town of Olinda was within easy walking distance. We slept wonderfully and we loved being woken up by the sound of the birds

The gardens and main building are wonderful. There's care in the property, and the staff are all fantastic - gardeners, reception, cleaners, restaurant staff. Lots of space to sit in communal areas, around the pool and garden. The pool was great for relaxing after a long day in the sun in Olinda, and big enough to find space to swim and relax in, even even busy.. internal decoration of the reception and round the property was great. Good breakfast especially at the weekend.
