The surrounding setting were stunning, breakfast was yum, some of the old features like the oven were cool to use, and the heater worked well. The place was nice and clean excluding some small piles of ants dead in the spa bath. A nice stay if you want to take a step back into the past but with a few modern appliances.

Cute & cosy cottages. Lots of little extras. Firewood & starters provided, heater on when we arrived. Lots of information regarding renovations and history. Very comfortable, would definitely stay again.

Very Cosy l was bit apprehensive to ask the owner Brett for help with the fireplace, l worked it our eventually but it fizzled out to quickly like last rime,TV had a few channels no reception, Brett helped me to get all the Channels, but it happened again 😀. Overall a beautiful stay,my friends were staying in another cottage at the same place. I will stay there again.

Location is excellent and the cottage was well equipped and generously stocked. Brett our host was very friendly and easygoing. The garden is charming and it was lovely to sit outside on the porch and eat breakfast.

breakfast options were fabulous - loved using the Kooka to cook breakfast & dinner. the kitchen had great cookware if you wanted to cook. location was fabulous if you wanted to eat out. Loved the attention to detail in the cottage, the vintage decor, the syling in the cottage, very homely but not suffocating. Being nestled amongst the trees gave you an instant calm feeling. will definatley be back!!

Loved everything about the property. The location is quite amazing and walking distance to great cafés and restaurants. Serene and peaceful stay in the forest. Very safe and clean. Brett is a lovely host. He has beautifully put together an amazing cottage. The collections of books, the vintage furniture and equipment, the place had warmth and peace.

The cosy feel of the place was perfect. The owner also provided bread, cereal, milk and fruit for the breakfast. Beautiful spot.

Having breakfast items was such a lovely touch, we had a slow morning in the gorgeous little kitchen cooking and chatting about how much we absolutely loved Brett's como cottage. We played Scrabble in front of the open fire while it poured down rain outside. The experience was topped off with Brett showing us around the beautiful gardens as we were checking out. We will definitely be back. This place just might be a little slice of heaven

“Cosy countryside stay!”

It was really nice and cosy. Kitchenette was well stocked with all the required cutlery and crockery. Heated blankets and fireplace to keep us warm in the early spring. We spent the first evening staying in the cottage after checking in instead of heading out as we just loved how homely everything is. Some signs of aging but overall the family loves it.
