Convenient for viewing the latest volcanic eruption. The kitchen had a few basic essentials such as sugar, salt and instant coffee, which was nice.

Great, cozy little cabin. Comfortable beds, quiet location and very clean. If you stay here make sure you walk to the nearby beach, it's beautiful and you'll likely have it entirely for yourself.

“Lovely little cottage and a great location from which to explore the south coast and Golden Circle.”
Lovely little cottage, ideal for a family of four and great as a base to explore the south coast area of Iceland. Very quiet at night and suitably far out from the town that I could imagine non-summer dark nights would offer some amazing views of the night skies. Not right on the beach itself but a short walk and there is a lovely and largely empty black beach to enjoy.

“Nice cottage with great service!”
It was clean and comfortable. What we liked most is the service we got when we discovered a little after midnight that we had lost the key. Within 15 minutes someone stopped by to open the door for us and was very gracious about it. We very very grateful.
