Excellent country pub & hotel. We stayed in the Yew room, it was bright, clean, spacious and very comfortable. We dined in the pub on the Friday evening and had a delicious meal enjoying the views of the mountains through the windows. Breakfast was lovely too, especially the huge fresh fruit salad. The service was superb from all the staff, everyone was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Especially the owner, Stewart, who was very warm & friendly. We had some enjoyable chats and he even gave us some local honey to take home for our daughter, named Bea. Super handy that there was also an EV charger.

For a couple of a certain age, the breakfast was absolutely perfect. However, I would imagine that younger people would expect to be offered a hot cooked breakfast. When we booked this accommodation we just assumed that a cooked breakfast was a given as it didn't mention that it was Continental only.
