Overview
Set in central Ólafsfjördur, this guest house overlooks the Eyjafjördur Fjord. It offers rooms with modern décor and views of the surrounding mountains. A nice guesthouse. The room, kitchen and bathroom were clean. There is a coffee machine. We had a nice breakfast.

Very simple accommodation, yet the bed was great. The room is quite small. For four adults and 4 pieces of luggage it was very tight. But it was enough for a short stay. Breakfast was sufficient. The kitchenette and the equipment are very nice. Unfortunately the fridge was very small, we had to leave some of the food in the car overnight. On warm days this would be a problem. There is practically nothing in the area. The local cafe was unfortunately closed in the evening/morning. We welcomed the possibility of coffee in the kitchenette. Anyway, thank you very much to the owner for everything.

“Great place to rest and recuperate on your trip.”
Smartly designed and maintained interior, comfortable beds, convenient bathrooms and breakfast room which is small for the house but if one can arrange its shared use with other guests, no problem there. Nice coffee on the ground floor unfortunately opening as we were leaving at 10:30. As is usual in Iceland you don't meet the host (all is beautifully informal) but feel cared for anyway.

“Recomendation for staying definately”
Loved little place, loved the host, loved breakfast. Its stunning ride to it. Strange little town. Found one restaurant in and had our dinner, because this place does not have kitchen
