“Disappointing”
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. I checked in late on April 29th, shortly before a lightning strike hit the building. A smell of burnt electronics filled the room, the elevator stopped working, and the fire brigade arrived soon after. I no longer felt safe staying on the fourth floor and asked to be moved to a ground-level room. When that wasn’t possible, I explained I would leave and requested a refund—having only just checked in. The staff refused, which I found completely unacceptable given the circumstances. I remained calm and understanding throughout the situation, up until the point when my reasonable request for a refund was flatly denied. Since then, I have emailed three times in three weeks and also called several times, but have been unable to reach the manager or receive any kind of response at all. I fully understand that the weather wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but ignoring guests and refusing to address a legitimate concern is poor service.

“Clean and nice, buffet fantastic. Lack of staff, policies & surrounding areas..not so much.”
The location was optimum for where I needed to be. It was by far the best choice. The breakfast buffett was the best I have ever experienced, both days and was open at 6AM. Eggs, breakfast meat, potatoes, waffles, small & large, blueberry muffins, bagels and toast, hard boiled eggs, several flavors of yogurt - regular and greek, oatmeal and toppings, cereal, several different juices. The hotel is fairly new in appearance, and very clean. Rooms and bathrooms were very nice.
