“This is an old style farm house in the rice fields. Quiet, serene, perfect for a 2 day recharge.”
I really enjoyed the location. It is in the countryside in the rice fields about 45 mins train from tenjin, Fukuoka. Very calm and serene location, perfect for a 2 day recharge. Free bicycles to roam the countryside.great bath, hot shower, big kitchen, comfy beds.

“OK place in the countryside.”
The location is in the sticks so it's super quiet. The owner was really helpful. I balls up my booking but he allowed me to change dates. It was really hot when we visited so he moved us to a room with Aircon for a few extra Yen.

“Aircon in some bedrooms. Old Showa-era stay near rice-fields.”
Spacious, yet old, house, nestled near rice paddies in the middle-of-nowhere. Quiet, antique charm of former Showa-era family residence. Kitchen area had aircon, TV, and was communal. Board games were a win for kids! Small bath towels provided. Nearby 道の駅 • service area within walking distance, with paddle pool and some snacks and groceries. and Cosmos and some other stores a bit further.

The staff seems helpful but the place was not the cleanest I saw. Also there was no sheets on the beds, and it looked like we had a room that was used for the family and quickly emptied for us.

“you get what you pay for, a bed for the night”
the hosts were nice, kitchen was well equipped. overall you get what you pay for which is a bed for the night. We don’t have high expectations so it was okay for us.

“For those on a very low budget and nowhere else to stay. Avoid during summer.”
Being able to check in from noon was very good. The shower was nice and I was thankful for it on such a hot humid day.
