Very simple business hotel. But new and clean. Comfortble. Many hotels nowadays don't supply amenities like face and body cream. But TOYOKO INN supplies everything free. Very attentive staff. Good value for money

Great location, good breakfast and overall a reliable standard of quality for this chain of hotels. I booked a smoker room by accident and I couldn't smell a thing in the room. I could smell it on the hallway - only the last day or so - so maybe someone smoked on the hallway, but the room was very clean and smell free.

The breakfast was excellent. The room was a good size with the bonus of being able to open the window. Very handy location close to the station. We chose the top floor with a great night view over the city. Very good value.

Being a business hotel very close to the station and a number of bars, cafes and restaurants within an easy walk. Room (queen) was spacious by Japan standards . Breakfast was ok but not much in the way of western options, I don't expect there to be a full English but bread and butter would be nice

“Very Disappointed”

We are near the end of a four week tour of Japan. Working our way down from Sapporo to Fukuoka and have stayed in a number of hotels on the way. We can honestly say this was the most disappointing one we stayed at. Our room on the 13th floor looked out over the station - trainspotters paradise! The noise of the trains and station announcements could be heard clearly from the room with the window closed. Very annoying when you are trying to get some sleep. The bed was very uncomfortable as the mattress was extremely hard. Unlike other hotels we have stayed at in Japan breakfast was very disappointing as it catered mainly for the Chinese/Japanese clients. As much as we like to try local foods when we are traveling, we do find it hard to eat meat, rice, noodles and salad dishes for breakfast. There was no cereals, fruit or yogurt.
