An excellent location—right by the station and within walking distance of the castle and park, the city’s main attractions. The traditional breakfasts are good and very varied. There’s a great onsen, plus complimentary ice cream, drinks, and evening ramen

“Relaxing stay near canals”
Lovely rooms, nice breaksfast, great location (near the station, canals and wihin walking distance to Korakuen Garden and Okayama Castle). Ramen at night was all we really needed after a day out. Relaxing onsen. Would definetely come back!

Walking distance to the station, and the canal. A bit more of a walk but still able to walk to the castle and gardens. The breakfast is great.

“A right treat”
Hot springs and food provided were definite perks. Despite me having tattoos, I was allowed to use the onsen facilities as reception provided coverup stickers. I have quite large tattoos so the stickers looked a bit silly but nonetheless meant that I could enjoy the onsen. Washing machine facilities also a plus.

The onsen bath, which we enjoyed morning and night, and the free ice cream and drinks afterwards. And the breakfast! 50 items of Japanese and Western food, fresh and tasty. There were many small plates of Japanese delicacies, local specialties, fresh fruit, as well as beef cooked like sukiyaki, which my friends liked so much they went back for seconds. I was particularly impressed that the staff replaced a half full plate of their signature sushi with a brand new plate of sushi.

Not a particularly attractive neighbourhood but halfway between the station and the castle/garden/museums area. Good Japanese breakfast. Tattoos not permitted in the communal bath but they offer cover patches.
