We were the 1st guests from Booking.com, and had a wonderful experience during our 3-night stay! The guesthouse was new, clean, basic, however with less than 1hr drive to Waterberg Park, which makes it one of most affordable places in the area, and it has a functional kitcken. Great value for money! Ester and Thomas are welcoming and caring hosts. They didn't realise some items were included set up by their listing agents, such as AC and breakfast until we pointed out. They immediately brought us a fan, lots of eggs, fresh green veggies from their garden (lots of it), and delivered a pack of bacon early next morning. Though new to hosting, they have the warm heart to take good care of their guests. The villiage of Okakarara is relatively small and we didn't see any other western tourists or non-black people, but we felt safe walking on the streets and had a more authentic African experience.. We also made some suggestions to Ester and trust they will continue to improve!
